Workplace Wellness By Melissa Esham 3/29/2016 March is a time to focus on Workplace Wellness. At Atlantic/Smith, Cropper & Deeley we have a wellness team. Although not mandatory, employees are encouraged to participate in the wellness activities and are rewarded for participation and progress. In January and February the team was challenged to log in daily to a fitness app and keep a food diary. If you logged in for 60 days you got lunch on the company and your name in a hat to win a fitbit. Congratulations to Rachel Thompson for her big win! She looks mighty spiffy walking around with her prize! The current challenge is 1,000 minutes of exercise in 6 weeks! That works out to around 25 minutes a day. The structure provided makes it a fun way to get a little more exercise and focus on our own wellness. It is great motivation! Does your business participate in a Wellness Program? Let's share ideas!
